Everybody does not have a big resolution, or the money to buy it. The
problem is not only about the default settings is poor, it's about we
can't change it to have the old one font.

I don't see why this is submitted as a bug, the new fonts seem better to
me. Yes they look kind of blurry but that's a good thing especially on
big screen resolutions.

Same here in kubuntu hardy alpha 6. I've tried downgrading language-selector as
described in bug 199557, and dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig-config and
I am not sure if it helped or not. But what I currently have is on screenshot.
The font that is on the left is Dejavu Sans Mono, the other one is Dej

I changed all fonts to Liberation * though, they are well hinted so the
fonts look almost fine, but still slightly blurry according to my taste

Just installed Hardy Alpha 6 and noticed that fonts now look a bit blurry on my
laptop's screen as compared to Alpha 5.
Anti-aliasing is enabled and hinting style is full.

It wont help but for me these fonts changes were actually good and well
noticeable: it feels better, probably more antialiased.
Only detail, i didnt formar/reinstall but just upgraded since alpha 3
(or 4).
