Addition to the above: ask for the Debian package of 10.38 or later.
That should fix any problems caused by files that are not part of the

As I said, from Citrix technical support. I suggest that you get in
touch with the administrators of the Citrix hosts that you are using and
ask them to get you build 10.38
This bug still exists for me with an ICA client downloaded from Citrix
official download site today. I am running the production version of
Ubuntu 8.04. The export LIBXCB_ALLOW_SLOPPY_LOCK=true work around does

It's actually a problem with the new Xcb-based implementation of Xlib.
It is doing some internal locking for multi-threaded use and gets into a
situation where the sigle thread sets the display lock against itself.
On the other hand, that only happens becuase the ICA client uses an Xlib
event funct
I can confirm this problem and the above workaround resolves it. I'd say
it was a citrix problem except the same installer worked fine under
Gutsy.

You
Work around for
"an attempt to open a
citrix session from within firefox 3.0b3 lets the (Citrix) ICA plugin crash as
reported by /var/log/apport"
One has to set
export LIBXCB_ALLOW_SLOPPY_LOCK=true
before starting firefox 3.0. Be patient, it takes 30 seconds until the citrix
application starts.
