is recogized and active again. But as a further problem, I cannot connect to
the wireless network (wpa personal, tkip). I stuck in "Waiting for the network

I installed Hardy Alpha 6. While booting with the newest kernel (2.6.24-12) the
wireless card (atheros AR5211) is not present, although listed in lspci. While
booting with the kernel 2.6.22 the network card is present but I cannot connect
to the wireless network. With Gutsy all works fine.

The instructions that I saw only had me capture the commands run on a
terminal.
If you want me to append filed from the HARDY installation that's fine.
Please tell me what files you want.
Otherwise to do as instructed with HARDY I will have to boot into HARDY and
run the commands.

We're only interested in files from one that doesn't work. Are the
files you've attached from the working gutsy?
If they are two partitions on the same machine you should be able to
mount the hardy partition in gutsy and access the config files that
way.

OK - please remember that the problem is with a HARDY installation - not
GUTSY which was used to generate these files
The HARDY installation can not talk to the out side world.
If you need a file off of the HARDY installation please specify which
one and I will get it
