Then rather then jerking people around, let's just tell them off the bat
that bugs on which "triage team has no real competence to work" can not

to be the only one to have the issue and getting useful details doesn't
seem to be trigger, the ubuntu bug triage team has no real competence to
work on thi

I have had similar problems on 7.10 with evolution hanging. I am using
Evolution with the OWA Adapter to hook into Exchange Server.
My problem was that when I was typing emails into the TO/FROM when
writing an email, the autocomplete would show but then immediately hang.
The entire evolution app w

Yes, disabling that plugin solved my freezes.
Is there a long-term solution to this issue? It seems awfully bad
behavior to have, even in a plugin, to freeze the entire UI. Should it
be disabled? Or, should we open up a bug against the plugin to get the
issue fixed properly?

You probably have synchronisation with Pidgin enabled on Evo -- See
Preferences/Mail Preferences/Automatic Contacts. Then what will happen
is every so often the synchronisation will start -- for each buddy in
Pidgin Evo will search for a match in the Contacts; if not found, then
it will add it in.
I ran the whole of evolution under gdb today. I see these messages
coming out on the console during a freeze:

I believe this is from one of the evolution plugin

There are no debug symbol packages that I can find for libedataserver,
but I've got them for evolution and libglib. Is that going to be a
