Which version of Hardy is this in? If you haven't tested it in Alpha 5 yet,
please do so.
Also, when you insert the audio CD and Totem opens, can you check your file
manager to see if the disk appears in media:/

Today, I upgraded (must be an upgrade to Alpha5).
The problem is still there: I put the CD in the drive, Totem appears and
can't open cdda:. When I rightclick on the item "cdda:" in the Totem
playlist and choose "Copy location" and paste that in an editor, I get:
