Upstream report is https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/cogl/issues/1, resolving the segfault wouldn't fix the problem that the xorg stack hits errors though. If the other bugs is hinting right, uninstalling the nvidia driver should resolve the issue (why do you have those installed on an intel system?)

It appears you have a Sandy Bridge CPU and the required packages installed for hardware video decoding (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Quick_Sync_Video#Hardware_decoding_and_encoding). So that should work. Maybe Seb has a point... Can you please also: 1. Run 'vainfo' and send us the output.
