This same problem happens to me when I check email (using new yahoo email) and
then go back to the yahoo main page.
I attached /var/crash/_usr_lib_firefox_firefox-bin.2003.crash (hope it helps).

I'm having the same problem with Firefox 2.0.12 and the latest non-free
version of flash. With a Gentoo distribution I have on another hard-
drive (Firefox 2.0.0.9 and flash 9.0.115.0) the problem does not exist.

Well, honestly, this is probably NOT an Ubuntu bug, but rather a
Flash/Firefox/web-page interaction. Still, entering text on a web page
should not cause an app. to go away. We just need someone more
qualified to diagnose it and direct the issue to the appropriate party.

I hope removing the invalid tag isn't stepping on peoples toes, but I

I can confirm this: Ubuntu 7.10 (2.6.22-14-generic) and Firefox
2.0.0.11. Enter that second address in yahoo maps, hit 'GO' and Firefox
goes away. There is no crash report in /var/crash, but Firefox
recognizes it as an ungraceful exit because it asks to restore when next
launched.

Different in that Mapquest does not crash Firefox.

I have the same bug for Ubuntu 7.10. Mapquest crashes at the exact same
spot. and does not produce a crash in /var/crash, however, Firefox
prompts to restore session after restarting.

Hi,
please submit the crash report by (double) clicking on it (e.g. using
gnome file manager). Otherwise, we won't be able to process it
efficiently. The .crash files can be found in the /var/crash directory.
