I have similar on a new box I built for mom. Different in that Mapquest does not crash Firefox. Yahoo Maps crashes Firefox when adding a from or to address. Really frustrating... I've built several Ubuntu boxes for myself. Never had this problem. First one I build for someone else and blammo... I'm going over today to try and fix it. (hey... maybe it's a Linux feature designed to make you visit your parents more often?*g*)
