Thumbnail of photo/video displays incorrec
Here is what I see in the thumbnailer log when I tap on a single image
in the photo roll:
Note that, even though I asked to see one image, the app issues requests
for two images. As far as I can see, it should ask only for the image I
want to see?
For each image, there are two requests, one for 7

Hmmm... I wouldn't call the current behavior "acceptable". The photo
scope shouldn't show a preview image that's too large. The thumbnailer
really has nothing to do with it. It'll produce a thumbnail of pretty
much any size very efficiently. This really is a UI bug in the photo
scope: the screen la
So this behaviour is currently acceptable as it brought massive
improvements to the speed and processing of images by using thumbnailer,
it used to fetch art directly and then process it.
This means better battery and better speed experience so I think it is
not likely to change.

OK, so the problem appears to be that tapping on a photo in the scope
does show the preview, but the image shown with the preview is full
size, so the "Open"/"Play" button near the bottom is not visible until
after I scroll down. The preview should indeed show something smaller
that doesn't blow al
same issue in my videos scope while previewing the video recorded by
camera, update the title
