OK, stopping this for today. All I can see is that PhoneStage's
spreadView.contentX is set to 0 on startup, which means shiftedContentX
is inappropriately set to 'shift' (which is 'width / 2') on start.
Seems to be due to all the other changes in PhoneStage in that PPA to
deal with rotation. But
OK, due to another oddity with that tutorial screen, the right edge was
being unresponsive in this state. With the following merge, you can at
least recover from the 0.5-progress initial state.

Still looking into why the
This also happens on mako with silo 0. I've played with it a bit today,
but don't have a fix yet. Here's what I know:
App tile 0's progress is starting at 0.5 (which is why it shows up
halfway across the screen already on startup). It should start at 0, I
believe. Because progress starts at 0.
I can't reproduce on an N7 because I only have a grouper, not a flo.
Does someone else on the team have a flo that reproduces this?
