yeah, it looks like the upstream author is changing over to non-
microsoft ftps, even though the regular ftp.microsoft.com seems to be
working (ie, works for me). They must have had a lot of trouble with
ftp.microsoft.com in the past.

Hi, I was able to install the fonts by downloading the svn version of
winetricks script from
http://winetricks.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/winetricks, you can
download it to a temporary directory, give execution permissions and
run. This worked for me
