Ok, so the goal is to run starlink-pal 0.5.0-1 on Ubuntu 14.04? You will
probably need the erfa library available in Ubuntu Utopic, either by
grabbing the package and installing it on Ubuntu 14.04 (might work),
build it yourself, or request a backport. Since 14.04 has been released,

I have to admit I'm slightly confused by this. Version 0.5.0-1 of
Starlink-pal is availble in Ubuntu Utopic which also has erfa 1.1.0-2 in
the repositories, so that should work. Or are you trying to build the
package f
