It would have been too good to push it before the end of life of the
ubuntu version supported by dpi.

I support totally this bug report. As you know, Ubuntu received recently
a Big brother Award because of the searching online possibilities in
Ubuntu.
This situation is due to a lack of communication inside Ubuntu. People
that install Ubuntu for the first time don't know that informations are
