I had this problem with an older kernel long back. I can't place which one. The problem was solved after I got the fan cleaned/replaced. So the problem was really that the system would reboot without any warning whatsoever. The bug was closed stating it is a laptop issue. My problem is that one co

Did this issue not happen with earlier releases or kernels? Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.9 kernel[0] (Not a kernel in the daily directory) and install both the linux-image and lin
