Thanks for your comments. We had other problems with this server as
well. We had upgraded to the newest kernel and he seemed stable, but
then this occurred. After posting this bug we decided to replace te
server. The replacement has not given any troubles yet, so I think you
are right to claim that
The cron job you posted should not be able to cause a system reboot. As
this hasn't been confirmed by any other user, and there is surely a huge
number of other users running that same cron job, I think it is more
likely than not that this is either a hardware fault or some local
corruption or misc
Oops, contrary to my last comment, to the original bug poster: If you
provide more information when the bug is "Incomplete" set it back to
"new" status. I made a mistake in saying you should leave it as
"Incomplete" if you provide more information :)

During my usual rounds of looking at bugs, I noticed this is set as "In
Progress", but there's not sufficient work on this bug to set it as "In
Progress".
Typically, we reserve "In Progress" status for bugs in which a fix is in
the process of being created. I've not seen any progress on th
