I just tested both Live-CDs.
Waking up from suspend does not work in
http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/natty/ubuntu-11.04-desktop-amd64.iso
live.
But there's a subtle difference: The HDD LED does not start to flash or shine
(only the LED that indicates the power state).
