Conky window not transparent but black

I am using exactly the same conky file on Ubuntu 12.10 and 12.04 on the
same hardware and there the windows are transparent. The same file on
13.04 gives the black background, that is a regression!
Besides slightly simplified files (no temperature readings) work in
VirtualBox with e.g. OpenSus
getting same on nvidia here, so not sure if it's a real bug. 'own_window
no' seems to work, and setting 'own_window_argb_visual yes' for true
transparancy works on my intel too..

The conky window background is black. I had the same problem in the first month
after the 12.10 release. I am using the same Conky file ".conkyrc" for 12.04
and 12.10 on the same computer and there the conky window is transparent as it
should be.
I'll attach the .conkyrc file.

The screenshot doesn't show a black screen.
Also, your description is rather terse. Care to explain the issue
further, such that we might try to reproduce it ourselves?
