Does this problem still occur?
I had the same issue on 7.10, on a HP Evo n600c with a SAMSUNG HM121HC
hard drive but was able to partly solve it by disabling the S=XX
parameter in /etc/laptop-mode/laptop-mode.conf (commenting it out) and
setting accousting management value to the value hdparm -I r
I would like to report the same problem its occuring quiet frequently on
my system (infact i just happened right now!)
