Hi Matthias, Yes, dead-key won't work with '/FrontEnd/X11/Dynamic = true‘. That's the reason it's set to false by default. In your case, you probably don't want to use XIM. Try 'im-switch -s scim-immodule' if you don't use Qt/KDE applications. Be aware that you may be bitten by bug #2246 thoug

Hi matthias, Please test the following: 1. Disable scim. The best way is probably run 'im-switch -s none', then logout and login again. You can also just use Alt-F1 to switch to terminal before XFCE login and do step 2 if you are familiar with that. 2. Make sure scim isn't started. Edit your
