More information, because the bug affects google-chrome and it hangs or
stutters with this problem I ran google-chrome from the command line and
keep seeing this recurring error, I don't know if they're related...
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:957:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) The dmix plugin supports only
playback
Update: tried installing the latest Nvidia Drivers 304.22 and it has
fixed the issue I was having with waking up from suspend to a blank
black screen however there are still major peformance issues. This
affects many different Nvidia drivers and is partially due to the Ubuntu
3.2.0-27-generic Kern
