UCSI altmode support patch
The previous comment isn't entirely correct. UCSI notifications are
broken, but the command failure I quoted has nothing to do with it, it
was just an artefact. I do not know why they are broken.

It looks like on XPS13, the UCSI notifications are broken. Attached is a
ftrace log that shows what happens if I enable UCSI tracing, plug in the
device, insmod ucsi_acpi, then remove the device, then plug it back in.
