When netbook running Xubuntu X-Windows session is woken up from sleep
(for example, after closing and re-opening lid while running Xubuntu), I
am prompted for my password, then the screen
i got the same SIGSEGV in chromium 20 running 12.04. Quite annoying
because it happends very often.

I found a stupid workaround to show the mouse for a short time again:

FWIW, I'm affect also, using ubuntu netbook edition on a HP zv6000, also
ATI driver.
Mine is set to suspend when closed, once it resume no mouse. Going back
and forward console makes it appears again

I can't delete sftp:// or smb:// virtual filesystem that appears is the
Desktop after the virtual filesystem is mouted , pressing the "DEL" key
or dragging to the trash.
It can only be deleted using the option "Unmount Volume" from the
