I upgraded to 2.6.32-25 and the problem dissappeared for me.
To summarize : -23 is Ok, -24 has High CPU rhytmically pulsating, -25 is
Ok again.

When booting 2.6.32-24 my onboard network card does not detect a link
and is not initialized. Both lights are fixed on. During the boot the
CPU jump on 1 core to between 30-100% pulsating in about 2 second rhythm
and generating continupously a load of about 2.

I got the same problem right after installing quickly. Software center
was running fine before
sudo apt-get install quickly
afterwards crashes. In a terminal :
