same here but only since the kubuntus update to kde 4.3.1.
knetworkmanager keeps crashing every 30 to ~60 seconds
so for me this is a high priority bug since the normal user is not able
to use any wireless network (or has to restart knetworkmanager every
minute)
after looking further into it, thi
name containing slashes,
and at least one of those problems is not a bug in dolphin, but in the
rename-dialog provided by kde.
if you want i can provide a fix so you can at least view folders with special
chars in it.

dolphin does not escape/parse filenames properly
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/175169
You received this bug notification because
i can confirn this. i recently looked into the d3lphin sources because of
another bug (slashes in folder names...) and by chance saw the code which
replaces "~" with the home directory.
so, if i find the time (and motivation) then i´ll try to fix this too, as this
hopefully is not as complicated

same here on kubuntu 8.04 x86:
folders containing slashes (i.e. "fol/der") are interpreted as folder "fol"
with subfolder "der" in it which of course does not exist, so it says that the
file does not exist.
anybody here tried fixing this?

ups, you're right. due to bug report
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155032 kdesudo seems to be the problem.
but interesting is anyway that i removed kdesu yesterday and right after that
it (dolphin) worked
