I can confim this too, I had no problems under 7.10 as far as I could tell, but
I am getting it now with cross fading enabled on Amarok 1.4.9.1.
I only ever play my music with it all in one playlist, random enabled. I have
1800 tracks, I am not sure if the amount effects the bug at all.
Oddly, I
same drivers and such as post above, but I am using a 7300 series card,
with a dual core proccessor.
Only happens 60% of the time for me if compiz is running. Never had a
problem without compiz running.

betas. I think I have been experiencing it on Konqueror too, although
this could be a result of having firefox running.
