Well, I found by myself the solution. It really does 'not' disappear. It
becomes just 'invisible': you can find it out (also with a bit of luck)
if you hit with right mouse button where the edge of the applet is
supposed to be.
Perhaps could be fixed and avoid panic situations showing up something
