I found this bug when i used the Suspend-to-RAM feature of kpowersave.
it correctly switches to S3 mode but after waking up it reports:

joypad (gravis xterminator) connected to a soundblaster live gameport

"modprobe grip" loads the module but doesn't detect anything. In 8.10 it

I found the reason why it didn't work (for me): the jfs-partition was
(for some reason !?) unclean and i had to manually fs-check it to be
able to mount it again.
the irritating thing is, that jfs did not report it (not even via dmesg)
und you have to guess that it's unclean.
