Here's a way to make the launcher reveal again:
If you're on the desktop and the launcher is not revealing by moving the mouse
to the left side, just single-left-click on some file on the desktop (selecting
it), then single-left-clicking some empty space on the desktop (unselecting the
file). N
It seems that DnD works with files and the launcher in "always show"
mode. Probably this is a problem with the auto-hide function of the
launcher?
DnD with marked text does not work.
Another problem I found, is that disabling auto-hide again does not
work, the launcher stays in auto-hide mode, so
The whole content of the beckground below the dash (but not below the
launcher) is shifted downwards. You can see the misalignment at the
border between launcher/maximised dash. See the attached printscreen.

On my Lenovo T400s with Ubuntu 12.04 (beta1 + latest updates), the hotkey to
disable the trackpad (FN+F8) works, but after a reboot the trackpad is active
again.

I still have the same problem on the latest Ubuntu 12.04 using an ATI

(1) Open a window, e.g. the terminal, with left-click
(2) Open another terminal with right click
(3) minimize the first terminal
(4) close the second terminal

For me the bug is semi-fixed (KDE 4.6.2): I configured the external
screen with resolution 1920x1200, internal screen off. At the next login
the external screen is at the correct resolution, but the internal
