I disabled bluetooth through the system tray, attempted to re-enable,
and was also unable. The bluetooth states that it's on, but only gives
me the option to turn off in the system tray, and bluetooth will not

synaptic package manager should no longer require removing ubuntu-sounds
when installing another sound theme package such as ubuntustudio-sounds.

The exact same issue just happened to me about an hour ago. There was a
whole lot of new updates, including a new kernel (2.6.27.3) and new
nvida drivers (177 mostly, it seemed). Prior to the update, my card and
graphics were working perfectly, but after the update I'm experiencing
the exact sam
I just reinstalled hardy and am getting the exact same error. The
program worked perfectly when I installed the beta, but this was an
install from the final release, so I don't know if that has anything to
do with it. For anybody else with the bug, the workaround seems to be
hand-editing the file

My Gateway MX8711, running Ubuntu 8.04 beta is experiencing the same
problem. I've done all the updates, and I'm sure the network manager is
up-to-date. Once I've established one wifi network, I am unable to
switch to another.
