I managed to boot the hard drive following these steps: Boot Live CD Mount the hard drive (I did on mount point /a) Reinstall Grub on it # grub-install --root-directory=/a /dev/sda Upon doing that I can boot vmlinuz-2.6.32-21-generic. But I still have this bug with vmlinuz-2.6.32-22-generic, tha

Note all of the automatically attached files are coming from the Kubuntu 10.04 LiveCD (32-bit) and not the O.S. in question...because I can't boot the problematic O.S. which is Kubuntu 10.04 amd64. The kernel last used on my non-bootable O.S. is 2.6.32.22-generic. I've also tried 2.6.32.21-generi
