Note all of the automatically attached files are coming from the Kubuntu 10.04 LiveCD (32-bit) and not the O.S. in question...because I can't boot the problematic O.S. which is Kubuntu 10.04 amd64. The kernel last used on my non-bootable O.S. is 2.6.32.22-generic. I've also tried 2.6.32.21-generic and 'recovery' modes, all fail to boot.
