Binary package hint: update-manager
Update manager fails to install updates from desktop; Running it from
terminal as a "sudo" results in install of any updates it finds. My
guess is for some reason the call to authentication is not being being
called correctly or is not res
Also have Plymouth 0.8.1 and am getting the same message about not being
able to connect; have and Intel graphics chip.

After a fresh instal of 9,04 the alternative restricted driver, which
works, appears for the Atheros AR5007 wifi. After the first updates, and
then a reboot, wifi stops working, and any entires in restricted drivers
