I have a dv9000 with turion 64 X2. Running 64 bit Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.20-16 with the same results. I have tried all suggested alternatives, but I am currently booting with " noapic nosmp", which sacrifices one core. However doing this resolves the interrupt problem, which lowers CPU usage to 3%
