Same problem here.
Added Google account in 12.04 even though it was mostly unused. On
upgrade I got these annoying and unlabelled (!) requests for a
password... I couldn't even determine which account it was for because
it only displayed an email address.
The solution here seems to do the trick

This affects me too.
AquaQuieta seems to suggest a good interim solution. I'm surprised
openssl.cnf doesn't already allow this functionality.

When I click on an application in the search results, the profile for

Hi there, as far as I can tell the problem resolved itself after a
kernel update...
I unfortunately cannot investigate further as I no longer have the same
hardware.

Would be great if Nautilus gracefully just monitor whether the Desktop

What would be awesome is if someone explained why this bug is invalid...
I'm trying to work out if it doesn't exist due to licensing or what, and
this is one of the first google hits.

Ok, so after more googling, this seems to because the dev files are in
libavcodec-dev amongst others.

It's hard to say whether this is a bug in the kernel or Xine...
I found this bug by running Amarok and occasionally the song would speed
up until the buffer ran out and would stutter briefly, then fix itself.
It only happened with Amarok and would happen with any input source

What about vegetarians? I think it is very meat-centrist to only have a
super cow confined within the barriers of a ~120k executable. Super cows
should be able to roam the filesystem freely!
I think we should replace it with the meat-free "apt-get carrot".
