The patch does not work if you have more than one TPM device in your
machine (I don't know if that is a common thing or not).

I'm using the nvidia binary drivers. Also using them on 2 other machines
without SSD with no problems.
When I try to change the theme in the gnome-appearance-properties only
the titlebar theme will change. Starting the gnome-settings-daemon
doesn't help until I log out and back in again. And even
No auto login here either. It happens 95% of the time.
Also the hack in #68 works for me and I haven't seen the problem since
applying it.

Ernesto. I'll try that fix at home this evening. I too am using an SSD
drive so sounds like it might be the cause.

I'll add my .xsession-errors later from home.
One thing I've noticed which is way more damaging is that the .xsession-
errors and .xsession-errors.old quickly fill up my home partition by
repeatedly logging the same error. After about 15 mins the 19 gig free
space in my home partition is gone caus

I am still getting it intermittently. Seems to now rely on large files being
moved into the target folder.
Switching off Nautilus Preview is the still the easiest fix.

After being fine since the fix was released I've got this problem back, but
intermittently. I'm back to switching on and off Preview. It manifests slightly
differently. With Preview switched on, in a older into which large files have
been copied, the folder contents may not be visible until Pre

I want to continuously sync 3 OOo .xls format spreadsheet files with U1.
Two files copy & syncs fine. The 3rd always appends xxx.u1.conflict the
file name and does not sync. (Karmic 2.6.31.16)

Terminal will list the files but Nautilus will wait continuously trying to
update the folder.
If I switch Nautilus>Edit>Preferences>Preview to Never Preview, all
files will display.

know is that the new kernel no longer recognises some wireless cards and
drivers that were fine in Gutsy. So it seems that the alternatives are
to implement a workaround or to install a new compatible wireless card.

I just upgraded my Ubuntu Gutsy server and Gutsy Desktop with the latest
kernel updates (dated 19-12-2007) and when I try to mount my NFS shares
my desktop pc freezes causing me to do a hard reboot everytime.
Anyone else having this problem?
