On Jaunty that should be

Been having the issue since Hardy and currently with a fresh install of
Jaunty. Hoping Karmic will have this fixed, as the backports package
fixes the issue for me. But maybe not, since the backports package for
intrepid
This is a really annoying bug... I recently did a fresh install of Jaunty and I
thought vi was broken since arrow keys were inserting characters, a behaviour I
hadn't seen vi do before. AFIAK, most other *nix's use the noncompatible setup.

Changing your sound in to hw or plughw for Sound In (Skype options) may help

I've had this problem since Edgy (now using Hardy).
Tried it on two different computers and it's the same on both.
It works fine in Windows and in MacOSX.
I've also noticed that dragging/dropping a message from the list to a
