My vote goes for "Username". Period. It's simple, logical, no
translation problems, no conflict with /home directory, simple to
explain, and fun.

When changing screen resolutions on Jaunty Jackalope 9.04, the screen-
resolution application's confirmation window appears out of focus
_behind_ the main window. A user caught unaware would likely miss the
confirmation dialog and revert to the original settings automatically.

My problem came from the upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10. Nothing was working,
none of the suggestions changed a thing, from unplugging the network
cable to editing alsa-utils to grub modules.
A fresh install of intrepid ibex from a live cd and the problem has

The extra ifconfig line in alsa-utils doesn't help shut down or
restart*. However, running 'sudo ifconfig eth0 down' alone from terminal
also 'hangs up' on my intrepid (upgraded today form 8.04) whereas other
users do find their solutions in this ifconfig process.
Just thought I'd toss that into t
