but I missconfigured the settings. Actually, I spelled wrongly the
server name part of my user name: myem...@gmx.co. As I realized, I
corrected the server name, but evolution kept triyng to contact gmx.co

When I scan two sheets with simple-scan and choose to save them in pdf
format, the output file can be even more than 50 MB. It happens since I
upgraded from ubuntu 11.04 to 11.10.

This time, when I ran brasero from the command line as you told me -
brasero --brasero-media-debug &> brasero-debug.txt ; - no pop-up window
appeared. The CD trail opened when it finished copying the disk to the
hard drive and then the program crashed directly.

When I try to copy a CD, brasero writes the image to the hard disk, and
then ejects the Cd. However, a pop-up window opens asking me to open the
CD trail, since he can not open it. As I said before, the CD has been
already ejected. The pop-up window has an only "Cancel" button
I'm sorry, but I'm on holidays until September, and I won't have acces to my

When jdownloader or flashgot need to be updated the browser begins to be
unstable. If I close a tab it works slowly and finally crashes. Then,
when I launch it again all the tabs I had closed before appear again

Definetly, when setting are right for the side of the document that is
going to be scanned the program behaves normal. For this scanner
(Samsung CLX-3175FN) maybe it should not give option to scan both sides
of the document. Unfortunately, simple scan tries to scan both sides of
the document by def
The preferences dialog let you choose which side of the document is
going to be scanned. It was setted to back and front, but this scanner
model (Samsung CLX-3175FN) can only scan the front. Maybe that's part of
the problem

autocompletion function works wrong with words with í character: It replaces Í
