was a 1px green outline went around the outside of my screen and
everything but the mouse froze. I had to go to tty1 via Ctrl-Alt-F1 to
restart. If I drag the launcher to the desktop and open it from there,
it works fine.

The installation was destroyed by an XP problem, but the new install just
tells me that the configuration doesn't work:

The first card is hooked up to a Dell M991 monitor, and is the primary
