problem is most likely caused by lightdm. I constantly experience
crashes when starting xfce/Xubuntu using lightdm selector.
There are no crashes after stopping lightdm on console and starting Xfce
manually by "startxfce4"! (may also be used as workaround).

half of my personal addressbook entries went invisible after next start.
Luckily, they reappeard after another restart.

firefox 16.0.2 fails to print with my 12.10 Ubuntu and 12.10 Xubuntu for
some webpages. I've added an example page as attachment. The same page
prints fine with epiphany, so I can sort out any CUPS related problem.
Printer is a Kyocera FS920 on local usb. Most pages
I could verify now that the bug is not present in evolution version
3.4.4 (tested on Sabayon), so it's most probably come up with 3.6
versions.

I just tried to test with a fresh installation of evolution inside a new
virtual machine (for raring ringtail testing purpose). Evolution has
still the same version:

found a simple workaround:
Open a terminal window and use the following two commands (comments may
be left out):

sudo mkd
The same problem occurs here. No pen drive, no camera or compact disc
will mount normally. However, it's possible to mount manually.
