Okay: I did the following.
Under "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu" I created symlinks for the libs that are
given within the error message.
The Fedora files expect each library so be available as "*.so.0" while they
only the "*.so.1" symlinks are available.
Afterwards I had to install "libdb5.3"
No
@klockren: I tried to copy the files from Fedora.
But unfortunately I run into:
Cannot load /usr/local/lib/apache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.so into server:
libsvn_repos-1.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
I have downloaded that lib and copied into /usr/local/lib
But ob
This is critical for everybody hosting a subversion repository... So
please fix this before reaching beta.

Title:
libapache2-svn missing in sauc
Okay - I played a little bit around and got this results:
The only thing that is relevant for this problem seems to be the setting
"font-name". The other font settings don't matter.
That can be changed with:
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface font-name 'Droid Sans 10'
Now it should with *
Small sample application:
import javax.swing.JFrame;
import javax.swing.JLabel;
/**
* @author Johannes Schneider (mailto:j...@cedarsoft.com";>j...@cedarsoft.com)
*/
public class Tester {
public static void main( String[] args ) {
JFrame frame = new JFrame("da Title");
frame.setSize(
The workaround doesn't work for me.
I have switched all fonts, changed the size. I still get a bold default font in
Swing applications.
I have written a small test app: The used font is "Dialog, bold, 12"
I have tried several JREs:
OpenJDK 1.7 (from Ubuntu repo)
OpenJDK 1.6 (from Ubuntu repo)
Workaround:
Add this to the bottom of "/usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/de"
partial alphanumeric_keys
xkb_symbols "qwerty" {
include "de(basic)"
name[Group1]="German (qwerty)";
//key { [ y, Y
] };
//key { [
By the way:
Setting the layout is possible by calling:
setxkbmap -layout de -variant us
But this layout is *not* the same as the old German (qwerty). de(us) uses the
US mapping and just adds some additional characters (e.g. umlauts) at the third
level.
German (qwerty) used to just switch "y"

Title:
Keyboard Layout "German (qwerty)" missing since 12.04
To manage no
1. The upgrade does not work automatically yet.
That means that the German (qwerty) is not converted to another keyboard. The
layout dialog still shows "German". You have to remove that entry and add a new
one to get the layout back...
2. I could not find an option for "German (us)" or anything
Public bug reported:
I have updated to 12.04 today.
Now I am missing the possibility to choose "German (qwerty)" within the
Keyboard Layout dialog.
This has been my preferred keyboard layout for a lot of years now.
I couldn't find any traces of that layout within /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/de.
