With 7.10 and the fglrx driver I still have this problem. With the opensource
driver I did not experience this, but I cannot use both monitors anymore.
After changing back from fglrx to opensource driver the second monitor is
constanstly in powersafe after log-in.

connect to my universities 802.1X wpa enterprise network. After this
update it is for me also not possible to access the open university
network which has a little low signal quality

I was changing the settings for kmail in the kontact preferences and then
kontact crashed.
Another time I was adding several emails in an IMAP account as SPAM and it
crashed (this is easily reproducable with more then 8 mails )

I now use only die network-manager dep from alexanders repo link and the
updated packages in the standard repo and everything right now seems to
work fine!

The only thing is I right now cannot switch from WPA network to WPA-enterprise

I did some testing now the Networkmanager does not crash anymore, but it
still hangs and the nm-applet takes a long time to update its changes.

Ok after today update there is no other windowmanager in use anymore.
Everything works now like a charmexcept that the external is always in clone
mode after restart. Is the only option to use a static layout using the
xorg.conf?
And I think the other windowmanager was compiz which will not run
Ok adjusted the xorg.conf and know this works.
One issue though everytime the external is not plugged in after stating the
laptop X uses another Windowmanager and has some problems with my
keyboardlayout and links on my desktop. But if the external is there then I
think metacity starts.

I now removed the xorg.conf and the internal screen works. The external
mirrors the internal and I cannot change this through the gui because I
do not have "sufficiant rights" (this is what the gui tells me).

With rt I meant the realtime kernel for gutsy.
I excerpted the part from my syslog and attached it. I have noticed that the
NetworkManager also crashes after several hours of connection to my WPA
Enterprise network.

Right now I have Gutsy Gibbon/Feisty Fawn running on the Asus M6N and
RAM reading and writing works at normal file sizes. I have ot tried to
write files bigger than 1GB where some others mentioned the same problem
