I seem to have sufficient space in persistence, approximately 1.7G , of a
4G usb flash drive.
I tried an experiment to install a couple of packages from the Ubuntu
Software Center: Gwenview and Alarm Clock, both packages seemed to fail

I'm experimenting with running Operating Systems, from USB flash drives, using
live cd .iso, Unebootin, and Start-up Disk Creator.
In this instance the O.S. is Zorin 5.2. on a memorex 4G. flashdrive , running
on a Gateway P-series laptop, with a dual boot vista and Ubuntu
