This seems to be solved only for the case of user had already a working profile
on ~/.mozilla/firefox/
Recent versions of FF3b5 still have this problem if a profile it's made from
fresh (even if apturl.js its correctly set).
Problem seems to be file mimeTypes.rdf created from template don't
up
I have an identical issue, but in my case it only happens on my SATA drives (it
happened with 2 different drives from different makers).
The most strange thing is that it seems that only happens when i start apps,
not when i read/write data files.
I finally move all Linux installations to my old
Same issue.
Core2 6400, Nvidia GeForce 6200, Nvidia prop. drivers, Edgy64 kernel 2.6.17-11.

Same problem. (Knot 3 and beta)
The bizarre thing is that it seems that gparted can't see b drives (hdb, sdb)
but with more than 2 of the same kind it show others normally (in my case, from
3 hdd only hda and hdc are detected/visible).
Another point, don't know if related, fdisk sees all drives
I'm on dapper too. I tried the repo suggested in gcompris site:
http://thomas.enix.org/DebianRepository with dapper repo that get gCompris-7.4
and that worked correctly.
After that i remove gCompris-7.4 without purge it and reinstall the
dapper 7.2 from official Ubuntu repo and *then* it worked!
Just another comment. When launched from a terminal, gcompris -a and in
profiles select Add here what i got:
starting profiles panel
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/gcompris/python/administration.py", line 180, in
select_eventmodule.start(self.panel_area)
File "/usr/sh
Yes, I have the same here.
The tool (gcompris administration module) just give empty field on any option.
