Epson dx4450 crashes wh
gutenprint 5.2.7 does it. Now ubuntu should add 5.2.7 as default. Much easier,
initially I thought cups was the driver, didn't know it was gutenprint
I'll report myself to the people of the ink level check.
So, the driver of http://www.openprinting.org/driver/gutenprint (download 5.2.7
deb) does

When starting a print-job out of LibreOffice Calc, the DX4450 from Epson
crashes, making a cracking noise before turning off.
This happens probably when getting out of standby, because when turned back on,
it prints like it should do.
