Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, per your report, it seems as though you are not
actually running Ubuntu but a derivative distribution. Derivatives are
not official flavours and may have additional repositories that provide
packages that c
I am now guessing that you mean it is the snap that does not support
MySql.
The Ubuntu .deb packages are built with MySql support:

So to be clear, what version and from what source is not supporting
MySql?
- 8.4.0 via apt/deb? (Note 8.4.0 is not in the Ubuntu archive for 24.04 so
would have to be from somewhere else)
- 8.4.0 via snap?
- 8.2.0 (version 4:8.2.0-0ubuntu6.2) via apt from 24.04 archive?

Testing with the chromium snap, I am not able to replicate this issue on

You are welcome. Yeah, I deliberately tests on a Ubuntu install where no
Qt or KDE things were pre-installed, which is where qml6-module-qtqml-
workerscript revealed itself as needed. On a Kubuntu install where it is
already there you would not find that.
