Press 'Num Lock' and see if that fixes the problem, it worked for me. A
long time I thought it's a ubuntu bug but is not ... :)

I've wanted to log kernel messages into a separate file. When I've
modified /etc/default/klogd to set the parameters for klogd i noticed
that klogd was not running after restart.
Steps to reproduce:
- Edit /etc/default/klogd and add this line : KL

Same problem here, with nvidia card.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open a gnome terminal
- Maximize the window
- Create a new tab using the keyboard shortcut (the tab is created but not
visible)
- Click on the gnome-terminal window (only at this point the tab is visible)
Observations:

The bug didn't reproduce in usual usage for a long time now (using
1.5.0.12-0ubuntu0.7.04). The plugins that i had ,and still have now, are
moztraybiff (http://moztraybiff.mozdev.org/) and the packaged 'English

Same problem here. I see that the problem is related to the partition
table that is not detected correctly or might be that the ipod has
something wrong :-?.

Thunderbird constantly stales, usually when i have lots of new mail
messages in the mailbox that weren't fetched, although i couldn't say
that is the same bug since i usually run Thunderbird binary from gui and
