After upgrading to Kubuntu 12.04 LTS the SPDIF output broke again (it
seems to break at every upgrade). I used gnome-alsamixer to a) deselect
IEC958 Optical Raw and b) select SB Live Analog/Digital Output Jack, and
got sound working again.

The problem of compiling llvm-gcc from sources might not be fixed even
with this change. I think the easiest way to allow compiling llvm-gcc
from sources with the libllvm installed from Ubuntu is to add a symbolic
link "include/llvm -> /usr/include/llvm" to the llvm-config --prefix
(/usr/lib/llvm).
This is broken again in the 2.7~svn20100221 package.

Nice to see LLVM 2.7 getting into the new Ubuntu LTS. However, please
take note that LLVM 2.7 disabled RTTI by default to speed up compilation
time during development and for reducing the binary size. However, it
breaks linking the LLVM libs with applications that use RTTI features,
such as our TCE

I do not have Intrepid installation, but the PDF does not crash KPDF
anymore in Hardy. However, one of the pages is not rendered fully, but

I have this same problem with Gutsy of today. I have a Dell X300 laptop which
has integrated Bluetooth
device. In Feisty I got a pop-up when starting KDE that mentioned something
about Bluetooth being enabled.
After upgrading to Gutsy, it does not appear anymore.

upgrade tool. However, the tool somehow got stuck and when I exited it,
it left apt database to a locked state. I had to remove 'lock' manually
