Have swapped the Pavilion with a Thinkpad, there has been many distros
in between, the driver is now in 177.80 so I have no idea. But with
20/20 hindsight Nvidia driver, Flash and Compiz didn't always be hunky
dory so.

choice between them.
I've had this problem since the early beta of the 100.xx.xx driver and
it is persistent in both Feisty and Gutsy. Had to reinstall Gutsy Rc and
install the 9xxx with "manual" configuration. Although this mi

"manually". No sign of any instabilitiy.
I therefore assume that this issue is related to the Nvida 100.xx.xx
driver and my hardware. (AMD TL56 /Geforce Go 7200 ) HP Pavillion 6185

running. In order to remove the old partitions I have to deactivate the
swap-partition first
