Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gparted
I assume and consider this a low priority, but when running Gparted from the LiveBeta: I understand that the LiveCD uses the existing swap-partition when running. In order to remove the old partitions I have to deactivate the swap-partition first. Gparted then exits rather than returning to Gparted main user interface. When starting Gparted again I am able to remove the desired partitions, exit normally and then commence installation. It is significantly better than Tribe5, but still....: In Gutsy Tribe 5 Gparted would freeze, then shut down after executing the partitioning, but before returning to the main Gparted user interface. When restarting Gparted it was evident that Gparted had completed the partitioning, but subsequently I was unable to commence installation without a rebooot of the LiveCD. ** Affects: gparted (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- GutsyBeta liveCD Gparted closes before end of process https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149383 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
